This series of paintings began with a sketchbook page. The very last page of a long-loved sketchbook. It was covered in late summer florals: zinnias, cosmos, and marigolds. Around the same time, I had a few canvases in my studio with a light coat of gesso, waiting to be reused. Together, those two things sparked this collection. I hope you enjoy these pieces as much as I enjoyed creating them!
